Farm Succession Workshop with Saratoga Plan

We are excited to share that Megan Harris- Pero, Esq. will be speaking at the Saratoga Springs Public Library on January 29th, 2019 as part of a Saratoga PLAN workshop on Farm Succession.

The workshop will take place from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This event will focus on protecting farms with sessions dedicated to farm business transfer, long-term care, conservation easements, Medicaid, estate planning, and trusts.

Megan’s attention to detail and consideration of an integrated planning for businesses and estates was aided by her experience with LEAD New York, a program through Cornell University that provides leadership training to people from all backgrounds committed to making a difference in the food, agriculture, and natural resource industries.

The experience grew Megan’s agricultural network to be statewide and further cemented her commitment to the agriculture community. Megan is looking forward to this Saratoga PLAN event and to sharing her knowledge of Medicaid planning and asset protection with the agriculture community.
